❓ Quick FAQ
Which FASS pumps is this bundle for?
Exclusively FASS Titanium and Titanium Signature Series lift pumps across Cummins, Power Stroke, and Duramax platforms. Not backward-compatible with the older 95 Series or HD Series pumps.
Why different micron ratings, and which side goes where?
The XWS-3002XL (20-micron) sits on the suction side, stripping water and larger debris before the pump. The PF-3001XL (2-micron) sits on the pressure side, catching microscopic particles as a final shield for injectors and the injection pump.
How do I swap these filters?
- Place a catch pan under the pump and pull the FASS fuse to disable it.
- Unscrew both old filters with a strap wrench and drain them.
- Clean the mounting studs and confirm old gaskets came off.
- Pre-fill the PF-3001XL with diesel (not the XWS-3002XL); lubricate both seals.
- Hand-thread the new filters on, then tighten an additional 3/4–1 turn.
- Re-fuse the system, cycle the ignition to prime it, then check for leaks before driving.
