❓ Quick FAQ
Which trucks/engines does this fit?
Cummins ISX15, QSX15, and X15 15-liter engines used in Class 8 semis (Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, International, Volvo) as well as industrial generators and heavy construction equipment.
What makes StrataPore™ media effective for high-pressure systems?
Its multi-layer synthetic design traps fine contaminants and provides strong water-coalescing performance — binding tiny water droplets together so they settle out before reaching the injectors, protecting against erosion and failures.
How do I replace this filter?
- Drain the old filter canister into a catch pan; disconnect the WIF sensor if equipped.
- Remove the old filter with a strap wrench.
- Clean the mounting surface and transfer/replace the WIF sensor with a new O-ring if reused.
- Pre-fill the new filter with diesel through the outer holes, lubricate the seal, then hand-tighten an additional 1/2–3/4 turn after contact.
- Reconnect the WIF sensor wiring.
- Cycle the ignition to RUN (without cranking) 3–5 times to prime the system, then start the engine and check for leaks.
