❓ Quick FAQ
Which trucks/engines does this fit?
Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks powered by PACCAR MX-11 and MX-13 turbo diesel engines.
Where does each filter go?
- Oil Filter (1922496): Oil module housing, passenger side — traps soot and metal wear particles.
- Fuel Filter (2277129): Fuel module, driver's side — fine particulate filtration before the high-pressure rail.
- Water Separator (2234788): Also in the driver's side fuel module — coalesces water and larger debris from incoming fuel.
How do I service all three filters?
- Drain the oil module, remove the cap (36mm socket), swap the oil filter cartridge and O-ring, then torque to 40 Nm.
- Drain both fuel filters, remove their caps (36mm socket), and lift out the old cartridges.
- Install new O-rings and filter elements, then torque the caps to 25 Nm.
- Manually prime the system using the hand primer pump until resistance builds.
- Cycle the ignition to RUN (without cranking) twice to purge remaining air, then start the engine and check for leaks.
